The truck driver who caused a serious accident in downtown Quitman earlier this year pleads guilty.
On January 19, Wilford Flanagan, Jr. was driving the 18-wheeler when he rear-ended a parked vehicle. It then hit a nearby pedestrian, launching the victim through a store front window.
Flanagan's blood alcohol test came back more than three times the legal limit.
He was sentenced to 10 years and eight years on two felony charges. He will serve the sentences concurrently.
