Creating a Tuscan villa in the East Texas countryside was a longtime dream of athe Pennington family. After their retirement from other careers, Paul and Mary Pennington wanted to work together. They saw a need for a beautiful and unique venue for weddings and special occasions, and so they began looking for property.
They found just what they wanted in a fifty acre tract of land on the Van Highway outside of Tyler. Paul designed the 23,000 square foot Tuscan styled villa and supervised it's construction. Reservations came in before the structure was even completed. The Pennington's daughter Ronda joined them as wedding director and their motto of "build it and they will come" became a reality.
