A Tyler man was arrested over the weekend after a shooting occurred on the 2900 block of Barnes.
Police say Johnny Lee Goss Junior shot another man in the leg over a debt dispute Saturday afternoon.
Authorities found two firearms while searching Goss's home, and are checking to see if one of the guns were used in the shooting. Goss was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He posted his $25,000 bond this afternoon and was released from Smith County jail.
The victim was treated at Trinity Mother Frances hospital and released Saturday.
According to family, 13-year-old Mardreus Ward will be released from the hospital Friday evening after undergoing treatment for three gunshot wounds to his legs.More >>
