Suspect Sought in Robbery Spree

Longview police are looking for a man who stole an S.U.V. and pulled 2 armed robberies.

It all started around 5 pm on Thursday, say police. That's when a red S.U.V. was stolen from the parking lot of a convenience store on the 1000 block of Mc-cann road.

A few hours later police think the same suspect robbed a woman at gun point in the parking lot of the Walmart supercenter on Loop 281.  An hour after the same man again is believed to have robbed a convenience store on Fairmont, getting away with an estimated 200 to 300 dollars.

The suspect is a white male, around 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with salt and pepper hair. Police say he is carrying a silver handgun and should be considered dangerous. If you have any information on these robberies, you're asked to call the Longview police.
