Four Suspects Arrested in Longview Murder

Longview police have arrested two brothers and two other young men, all believed to have taken part in Tuesday morning's shooting on Sylvan street.

Investigators say that robbery was the motive. 23-year-old Avery Hood was killed in his home. His 23-year-old girlfriend was shot several times and is in critical condition at Good Shepherd Hospital.

Three of the suspects were arraigned on murder charges this morning: 23-year-old Quincy Givens, 23-year-old Charles Hutchings and his brother, 24-year-old Corey Hutchings. A fourth suspect, arrested earlier today, has not yet been arraigned.

Corey and Charles Hutchings were charged with murder and aggravated assault and are being held on $400,000 dollars bond each. Givens is charged with murder and evading arrest and is also being held on $400,000 bond.

Police say while they were able to quickly get all suspects in custody, they are looking for answers as to why a robbery turned into murder.
