Rice was not cooled quickly enough after cooking to avoid bacteria growth, and thermometers were not accurate to keep foods safe.  Detergent, peroxide and bug spray were improperly stored.  The bug spray was also not an approved kind of insecticide for use in a restaurant.   Dirty cloth was used to wash appliances.

Several foods, like meatloaf and macaroni were not held at a hot enough temperature to be safe.  A handsink needed towels, and a drain cleaner was improperly stored.  Also, the ice machine and microwave needed cleaning.

There was evidence of someone smoking near the grill, there was also a "brownish" substance on the ice maker, and food was left uncovered.  That's a contamination danger.

There was one Cherokee County restaurant with a perfect score... with no problems in the kitchen.
