Supporters of Republican Presidential Candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul laced up their walking shoes Saturday morning. A group of East Texans walked from Bergfeld Park in Tyler to downtown handing out flyers and other materials. Supporters say Paul has won many presidential debates, but doesn't get the publicity other candidates get, so they want to get the message out.
"He's known as Dr. No in Congress because he votes no against anything that's against the constitution, so that's pretty amazing and rare in Washington," said Paul supporter Wendy Steck. "We're just trying to get people to know about Ron Paul." Walks to gain support for Paul were held across the country Saturday.
