Early Morning Shooting Suspects Loose

Tyler Police are on the trail of the people involved in an early morning apartment shooting. Two people were shot around 3 at the Aspen Place apartments on the Southeast Loop.

Tyler Police believe there was some kind of disturbance at the REO, a local nightclub Thursday night. After leaving the club everyone involved went home, but a few hours later Police say 21 year old Patrick Brown and 20 year old Brandon Davis were shot through the window of their apartment. Davis was shot in the arm, and Brown was wounded in the arm and his chest.

"Right now we believe some of the parties involved may actually live at the same apartment complex," said Sergeant Destry Walsworth, Major Crimes Division Supervisor, "Investigators have talked to a number of people at the complex and our investigation is continuing. We are interviewing possible suspects at this time."

Neighbors who awoke to the gunshots talked to KLTV. One man said he went outside and saw someone running and so he called Police. But as of right now no one has been arrested.

Police believe these people did know each other and they want to reassure the public this was *not a random act of violence.
