Runners Line Up for Annual Fun Run

Some East Texans spent their Saturday morning running in the annual St.Gregory's Fun Run. All those who came out to race brought canned goods with them to benefit the Tyler Food Bank.

This year, the race was done in honor of Monsignor Joe Strickland of Immacalate Conception Cathedral.

Hundreds of kids, teens and adults lined up at the starting point. A few even took off before the race officially began. But once they got back on track, the race was a-go for all. The runners ran 3.1 miles near T.K. Gorman High School and ended the race on the school's new running track. The winner Trenton Hall finished with a time of  16 minutes, 45 seconds.
