Silent Abortion Protest On The Square

There was a silent protest on the square in downtown Tyler. High school students from Christian Heritage School stood on the square, they say, to make a statement.

They stood together wearing red tape over their mouths with the word, "Life" written in black marker. They say they wanted to send a message that abortion is wrong.

"We are wearing these over our mouths to indicate all the children who didn't have a voice," said Jeremy Miller, senior at Christian Heritage, "We are also out here for awareness also. to know that there are people who are against this. We have a voice and we are not going to hesitate to use it or not use it."

The students said this is part of a nationwide 40 day fast for chrisitans everywhere to take a stand in their community against abortion.
