Attaway's Drive Earns Him Ford Truck Honor

For his performance so far this season, Whitehouse's Brady Attaway has received the "Built Ford Tough/Dallas Cowboys Texas High School Football Player of the Week" award.

Attaway has contributed sixteen touchdown passes in the first three games, and coach Randy McFarlin says

"Brady's an exceptional athlete," McFarlin says, "he's got a great arm and he deserves the attention he's getting. It takes Brady throwing it, but it's a team effort to accomplish our goal. You've got to have kids protecting him, and kids catching the ball, too."

The program honors one student-athlete in six of the state's athletic classifications every week during the high school football regular season for his accomplishments on and off the field.

Whitehouse opens district 12-4A play this week at home against Kilgore.
