Proud Of East Texas: Joe Dodson

Joe Dodson has done many things in his life, but through them all he's always been a cowboy. Dodson has used his equestrian skill as an actor and stuntman in movies and commercials, as well as 176 episodes of "Walker, Texas Ranger".

Dodson lives on Wood County land that's been in his family for six generations.  He bought the land from family members nine years ago.  The tranquil Dodson Ranch is a far cry from the year he spent in the wilds of New Mexico recovering from alcohol addiction.  Dodson's been sober for the past 23 years and thanks God each day for his blessings.
