Tyler East World Title Run Ends

They captured East Texas attention with their shot at a world title.

For four days, the Tyler East Senior All-Stars blew right past each opponent in the Senior League World Series.

But on Friday, Tyler East came up short against their toughest match. Playing Georgia in the semifinals, Tyler East jumped to an early 1-0 lead.

In the top of the second inning, Georgia's Garrison Boston brought home a run and it was a tie game.

The very next batter, Georgia's Cole Payne, got a base hit to left and another run scored. Georgia would take the 2-1 lead.

Tyler East fell Friday afternoon 4-1. That marked the end of Tyler's World Series run. Congratulations to the guys on a great run.
