$21,000 Bonds Set For Accused Dog Shooters

Bond has been set at $21,000 each for 18-year-olds Kiley Baker and Max Garcia, both of Longview. They're accused of shooting a Longview woman's dog right in her front yard. Wednesday morning, the two men were arraigned on video in jail by Justice of the Peace B.H. Jameson. Both have been charged with cruelty to animals and one count possession of fireworks Inside the city limits. Police say they found a 22-caliber rifle and a box of fireworks in the suspects' car. In a statement to police, Baker claims Garcia shot the dog with the rifle.
