Former Deputy Pleads Guilty In "Prisoner Beating" Case

A Rusk County Deputy accused of beating a handcuffed prisoner is probably headed to prison. Wednesday in federal court in Tyler, former Sheriff's Department Lieutenant Johnny Davidson pleaded guilty to violating a prisoner's civil rights. With that charge he faces up to 10 years in prison.
Last month another former Rusk County deputy, Daniel, "Dusty" Flanagan, pled guilty to the same charge.
Neither man has been sentenced, yet.
