Dozens Turn Out For KLTV's Job Fair

Twenty East Texas businesses all under one roof and all looking for job seekers. Wednesday dozens of job hopefuls showed up for's job fair at the Maude Cobb Activity Center in Longview. Each employer had a booth set up with handouts and a person to help answer questions. There were also tables available for job seekers to start filling out applications today. Attendees told KLTV it was a great way to meet employers face-to-face, shake their hand and hopefully make an impression.

Charles Pearson, one job seeker, says, "I just turned 19 and I'm looking for a job. I've had one before and it was real good but I had a loss of hours so I've come to look for a new one and I heard about the job fair so I thought I'd come and apply."
