Home Benefit Held For Henderson Officer

It was a big turnout in Henderson Saturday, in an effort to help a disabled law enforcement officer get a new home.  The community donated a parking lot full of items for a garage sale Saturday, to help Henderson Police Lieutenant Ricky Turner.  Turner was severely injured in an auto accident last year that left him paralyzed and wheelchair bound.  The community is now trying to raise money to help Turner build a wheelchair accessible home.

"It just keeps going, and they're continuing to help and keep going, and that's a blessing," said Turner.  "I can't say thank you enough."  Turner's home is expected to be finished within the next two months.
