Top Player Calhoun Set For ESPN All-American Game

He is the number one recruit in the state of Texas and has already made a verbal commitment to become an Oklahoma Sooner. Van's Jermie Calhoun is the talk of football websites and recruiters at big college across the country.

The folks at ESPN noticed.

Jermie has been invited to play in the ESPN All-American game. The game will be played at Disney World.

"I think was laying in bed one day, playing a game and I got a call from one of the coaches that runs ESPN and he told me I was the first player in Texas he recruited to play with ESPN," Jermie explained. "I was kind of shocked, I was like, 'What?!' I had a lot of people calling me saying, do you know you are in the ESPN game? It made me feel real good about myself."

The game will be held January 5.
