Closed Roads

Here is the list of Road Closures we have received.  Please let us know if there is a road closed near your home that is not on this list at newsroom@kltv.com, and we will add it. 

In the City of Tyler, all Roads are OPEN

314 North in Brownsboro at Kickapoo Creek near the bridge is partially flooded.  It is down to one lane.  There are cones on the road, but only at the actual flood site.  There are no warning cones, or signs before you get near there, or on the bridge to warn you.  Vehicles are still trying to drive through it.

SMITH COUNTY ROADS UPDATE:

CLOSED THROUGH WEEKEND:

CR 262, 2122, 1156, 146, 165, 2180

ONE LANE PASSABLE ROADS:

CR 2276, 2143, 461, 289

PARTIALLY CLOSED ROADS: (Still passable, barricades are in place)
CR 2103, 1114, 1308, 490, 1143, 2195, 1145, 179
CR 129- FLOODED
CR 2138- FLOODED South of Hwy 110
CR 2245- WATER OVER ROAD

Road closures in Longview:

Loop 281/Fairmont -- Roadway is collapsing on Fairmont Dumas Road between Tenneryville and Brent Sabine between Delroy and FM 1845

Also be advised that Grace Creek and several other smaller creeks within the city are greatly swollen and any further rain could cause them to flood nearby roadways.  Lois Jackson Park is completely flooded and any further rain could cause flooding on Bill Owens Parkway, as well as, Fairmont.   Also, although some of the roadways are now open, any additional rain could cause them to flood again, so motorists are urged to use caution.

Rural Gregg County road closings and weather related problems:

Pleasant Green Road ( E. of Kilgore)  - between Hwy 2204 & Hwy 349.

At 8:39am TxDot Re-Openned Hwy 349 (E. of Kilgore)  that had been closed between Hwy 2276 & Hwy 322.

FM 1845 @ Sabine St. (Longview) - High water & tree down on roadway.

Hwy. 31 @ Delroy St. (Longview) - Tree down on highway.
