Rains Create Sinkhole In Smith County Road

The recent rains have damaged roads all over East Texas.  The newest, County Road 2301, where a sinkhole has formed in the middle of the road.  That road in Smith County has been blocked off to thru traffic and for good reason.  There is no getting around this hole.  With so many damaged roads, the county says it's not sure when this road will be repaired.  The county says the recent rains have resulted in almost 200 emergency calls for service to repair washed out roads.
