Texas Shakespeare Festival Kicks Off Tonight

To be or not to be...that is the question. And, some very talented actors are hoping you will be at this year's Shakespeare Festival. The cast and crew of Much Ado About Nothing were putting the finishing touches on their play in a dress rehearsal Thursday. The Texas Shakespeare Festival in Kilgore kicks off Thursday night with it's first production, complete with elaborate costumes and set designs

"The plays are unbelievable, they're beautiful, I think they're just as good as anything you would see in New York, the actors are amazing, we have some really great directors and designers in, it's gonna be fun, it's fun and touching and I just wouldn't want to be anywhere else in Texas," said Heidi-Marie Ferren, who plays Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing.

Thursday night's production of Much Ado About Nothing starts at 7:30 on the Kilgore College campus. Tickets are 25 dollars at the door.   For more information, including other productions, click on the "Know More On Seven" link to the left. Then click on "Texas Shakespeare Festival."
