An East Texas man has been indicted on two counts of arson for two separate house fires. Joseph Patrick Jones, 29 of White Oak, is charged with setting fire to homes in March of 2005 and February of this year. In 2005 Jones allegedly set a Griffin Street home on fire after authorities say he got in an argument with the homeowner. Last February, Jones was again a suspect in a blaze at a North Ninth Street home. Authorities say it was the home of Jones' estranged girlfriend and three-month-old son. Jones is in the Gregg County Jail on $75,000 bond.
