Shuttle Landing Planned For This Afternoon

NASA managers have decided to try to land space shuttle Atlantis at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
For the second day, rain has prevented the space shuttle from landing at the Kennedy Space Center on its first try. Managers have now decided to land instead in California.
The landing attempt at California's Edwards Air Force Base will be at 3:49 p-m, Eastern time.
The crew has four chances left today to land, but the shuttle has enough power for its systems to orbit until Sunday.
