Two Thefts At Two Tyler Restaurants

There were two thefts at Tyler restaurants within the last 24 hours.  Tyler police responded Saturday morning to a burglary at the Little Caesar's Pizza on Troup Highway in Tyler. Police say the backdoor to the restaurant was kicked in and a large amount of cash was stolen.

Last night, police responded to an armed robbery at the Subway on South Broadway. The call was initially thought to be coming from the Tyler Skateplex next door. When officers arrived, the Subway clerk said a man came in and ordered a sandwich. At the cash register, the man pulled a gun and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-20's.  He is 5'10".  He was wearing a black baseball cap that says 'Super Dad' and a blue denim shirt with khaki pants. He was seen driving away in a blue minivan; possibly a Dodge.

If you have any information, call Tyler Police.
