Get Out The Vote: Lovie To The Hall

He's already a Hall-of-Famer to East Texans, but now East Texans can help put Big Sandy native Lovie Smith in the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.

The Chicago Bears head coach is one of 20 primary ballot nominees for the class of 2007. Six will be inducted.

You can help make sure Lovie makes the cut by joining the museum's Official Voting Member Program. To join and receive an official ballot, go to the museum's website at www.tshof.org. The deadline to vote is july 15th.

The induction ceremony will be in February of 2008 in Waco.  Six nominees from the primary ballot and two from the veterans' ballot will comprise the Class of 2007.
