Spurs Buck History, Win Game 4 In Utah

For the first time in 11 tries, the San Antonio Spurs had the answer for the Jazz, winning Game Four of the NBA's Western Conference Finals 91-79 to take a 3-1 series lead.

Manu Ginobili had 22 points off the bench to lead five Spurs in double figures.  Tim Duncan chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds.  Center Fabricio Oberto had 11 points and 11 rebounds.  Tony Parker had 17 points.  Michael Finley added 13 points.

Deron Williams led the Jazz with 27 points and 10 assists.

Michael Finley's 3-pointer with :11 seconds left in the first quarter gave the Spurs a 21-20 lead.  They would never trail again.  The Jazz pulled within one on a Carlos Boozer jumper with 9:41 left in the 4th, but the Spurs would slam the door and pull away for the 12 point win.

The Spurs are now one win away from the NBA Finals for the third time in five years.  Game 5 is Wednesday in San Antonio.
