Dog Leash Law Goes To Governor

You could go to prison if your dog attacks a person.

The Texas House just approved a bill, saying dog owners can be charged with a third degree felony if the dog makes an unprovoked attack and seriously injures someone. They can receive up to 10 years on prison, but if the person dies 20 years in prison.

The measure is sitting on Governor Perry's desk to be signed into law.
