East Texas Native Believed To Have Been Murdered Is Missing
The family of an East Texas native is asking for the public's help in finding a woman, believed to have been murdered. The single mother and nurse has been missing from her home in Dallas since Thursday.
Jennifer McCallum, 35, grew up in Tyler and is a graduate of Robert E. Lee and UT Tyler. She moved to Dallas five years ago. Thursday, McCallum's family says Plano police found a large amount of blood outside her apartment.
Late that night, police arrested McCallum's ex-husband Curtis Lee Armstrong, 37, who grew up in Mineola. Police say they found evidence in his truck that connected him to the crime scene. So far, police have not been able to find McCallum's body. McCallum's family says she divorced Armstrong in 2003 and the two have had custody problems over their six year old daughter.
