Click It Or Ticket Campaign Comes To Tyler

Tyler is known for it's roses, and today, those roses had a message for Texas drivers: Click It Or Ticket.

That's what 3,600 flowers spelled out. They were being photographed today as part of TXDOT's statewide campaign which includes six other locations.

Larry Krantz with the department says it's had great success with the campaign, but is hoping even more people will heed the warning. 

"We're very pleased with the results we've had. We've helped raise seat belt awareness and use to about 90%, and while those numbers are good, we're looking for 92% here in the next year. That would be a good number. Bottom line; seat belts save lives," says Larry.

The campaign runs from the end of May until the beginning of June.
