Seeking Beginning Golfers For Golf Clinic

Have you ever wanted to learn how to play golf but never really knew how to go about it?

Look no further, the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department presents Golf Clinic with a Pro as part of their At Your Leisure Series for 2007. This golf clinic is perfect for a single player or the whole family to learn the game of golf and enjoy spending time together.

The golf clinic is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon on April 28 at the Oak Hurst Golf Course, 6212 CR 152 West, in Bullard. Cost to participate is $15 per person. Each attendee will learn: the History of Golf, Rules & Etiquette of the game, Full Swing, and Short Game and Putting.

Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Bring your own clubs if you have them, or clubs will be provided for you. Deadline for registration is April 27.

    The John Tyler Lions always seem to look sharp in their uniforms. But thanks to East Texas lawyer Keith Miller, the Lions will look better and play safer. Helmets that advertise lowering the impact of hits, and possibly reduce the amount of concussions, come with a hefty price-tag.
