Distribution Center Breaks Ground In Kilgore

A big business comes to East Texas, meaning more jobs in one local community. This afternoon, ground was broken at Kilgore's Synergy park, for the new $50- million Orgill distribution center. The 160- year old family owned business will place it's 6th national hardware distribution center in Kilgore, which will provide 150 local jobs. It will later expand to 300 jobs over the next 5 years.

The center is expected to be completed and operational by April or May of 2008. Employment seekers are asked to call the East Texas workforce commission.
