Divided opinions tonight from parents and students over a proposed dress code at an East Texas school.
The proposal at Van High School would require students to wear solid colored shirts in red, white, navy, gray, denim or black.
Pants would have to be khaki, navy, black, grey, or red.
At a special meeting tonight, parents and students shared their concerns.
Some worry the dress code would put more financial strain on some families.
However, the principal at Van High School tells KLTV 7 no decisions have been made on if the new dress code will be implemented.
