Two intersections in Longview now have red light cameras up and running. At Spur 63 and Marshall Avenue and at Fourth Street and Loop 281 you may have noticed a flashing light above the traffic signal--that's the camera. It takes a video of the car running the red light and its license plate. Violators are then mailed a ticket for 85 dollars. But don't worry if you ran one Tuesday because the city is giving everyone a 30-day grace period before actual notices of violation are issued.
