School Board Passes Dress Code

Jacksonville Independent School District officials tell KLTV 7 the board has passed a new dress code proposal in Monday Night's meeting.

The vote passed with a vote of 4-2.

It will require students to wear solid, polo-style shirts in one of five designated colors. Those shirts would need to be tucked in with a belt to either solid navy, khaki, or black pants. Knee lenth skirts and shorts would also be allowed.

Students would only wear jeans on Fridays.

We will have more on this story on the air on KLTV 7 and here online at
