Benefit Held For Wounded East Texas Soldier

He was hit in the head with a helicopter blade while serving in Pakistan.  Now this wounded East Texas solider needs a new home.   The American Legion Women's Auxiliary Unit in Troup is holding a benefit for Tommy Guinn of Overton. Tommy is paralyzed from the waist down and needs a handicap accessible home. The Pulled Pork Dinner benefit is Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post in Troup.  That's located on East Magnolia Street. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 10 and under.
