Men Seeking Revenge Arrested, Accused Of Possessing Guns

At approximately 2:54 pm, March 15, 2007, Longview Police responded to the Belaire Manor Apartments at 1501 East Young in reference to an armed subject.

According to the initial police report, 35 year old Michael James Reedy of Longview had gone to this location looking for subjects that had shot at him in his vehicle earlier in the day at another location.

Reedy reported to police earlier that he was sitting in his vehicle at 1521 Mobberly when the two suspects approached his vehicle and began shooting at him.  He then fled the location and went back to his residence.

Police located two handguns in the vehicle that Reedy was in and he was arrested along with 25 year old Ronchey Lamond Thomas also of Longview.  Both were charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon (3rd Degree Felony) and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon (Class A Misdemeanor).  Thomas was also charged with Possession of Marijuana Less than 2 Ounces (Class B Misdemeanor).

Both subjects are currently in the Gregg County Jail.
