Baby Girl Abducted From Lubbock Hospital

The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued an Amber Alert for a 3-day-old girl abducted from Covenant Lakeside Hospital in Lubbock, on Saturday, March 10, at 1:20 a.m.

Mychael Darthard, a black female, is 19 inches long and weighs 10 pounds. She is possibly jaundiced.

Mychael is believed to have been abducted by a black female in her early 20s who is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds with a medium build and light complexion. She has black hair and dark eyes. The woman was wearing a flower-print scrub shirt, light blue scrub pants and a gray puffy jacket. Her hair was pulled together with a scrunchy.  The woman acted like she was a hospital employee.

There may be a black male associated with the suspect vehicle, a 2000-2006 red Dodge pickup truck with black trim and tinted windows.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mychael Darthard; the black woman dressed in a flower-print scrub shirt, light blue scrub pants and a gray puffy jacket; or the 2000-2006 red Dodge pickup truck with black trim and tinted windows should contact their local police department.
