Gymnastics Meet In Tyler This Weekend

Texas East Gymnastics in Tyler is producing some of the countries top gymnasts.  Now, they'll get to show off in front of the home crowd.  They are hosting The Rose City Classic this Saturday and Sunday at UT Tyler's Patriot Center.  The meet will include more than 300 gymnasts from Levels 4 through 10, as well as an open division, in which Tyler's own Alaina Johnson will compete.  Johnson is a two-time U.S. Gymnastics Championships qualifier, who has trained with the national team.

    The John Tyler Lions always seem to look sharp in their uniforms. But thanks to East Texas lawyer Keith Miller, the Lions will look better and play safer. Helmets that advertise lowering the impact of hits, and possibly reduce the amount of concussions, come with a hefty price-tag.
