Seven East Texas women have filed a lawsuit against a former Jacksonville police officer, the former police chief and the City of Jacksonville.
The women said former Jacksonville police officer Larry Pugh assaulted them at their homes, abandoned apartments and cemetery. According to the complaint, the seven women say they were assaulted a total of at least 14 times by Pugh.
In the complaint one woman says "Pugh demanded that she submit to sex with him or he would arrest her." Another woman says, she was "assaulted twice in November 2005 at her house."
Last year, Pugh pled guilty to sexually assaulting two other women while on duty and retaliating against a witness. His sentencing date has been set for March 1st.
