A Better East Texas: Frank Fields

The bureaucrats in Washington heated up the debate on the war in Iraq last week. So I decided to let a local soldier who has earned the right to talk about it offer his opinion, as a soldier. Frank Fields from Tyler has served in Iraq and lost both legs in his service to our country. We asked him if he thought the US should remain in Iraq and here is what he had to say.....

I don't get paid to have an opinion. I'm not in the army to have an opinion. The President, thats my commander in chief, and I follow orders. I don't have any say in whats going on. I'm a soldier and I execute. So for me to have an opinion I would be a hypocrite becausee I'm talking about something that I don't know.

Mr Guinn's courage, wisdom and commitment to his career make this a better east Texas.
