"Rose Festival" Designer Provides Backdrop For SMU Fashion Exhibit

Nothing sets off a great painting better than a great frame.  The person responsible for "framing" a one-of-a-kind exhibit in Dallas, is very familiar to East Texans.
The exhibit, at SMU's Meadow's Museum, shows off the influential fashion designs of Spanish-born designer Cristobal Balenciaga.  It's called "Balenciaga and His Legacy: Haute Couture from the Texas Fashion Collection".
The stage design for the event is by Winn Morton, known, locally, for his years designing the backdrop to Rose Festival Coronations. In fact, the setting for at least one design was from one of coronations. You can check out the entire exhibit.  It will be at SMU's Meadow's Museum, now through May 27.
