Police are on the scene at Toledo Express Airport for a situation aboard an airliner.  The Toledo/Lucas County Port Authority says American Eagle flight 4359 was taxiing away from the terminal when a call came in saying there was a bomb on-board.

The 911 call from a passenger came in to the sheriff's department about 10:30 a.m., authorities said. The FBI and city fire officials did not know whether the caller was the one making the threat.  "We have sketchy information. We're setting up a command post," acting Deputy Fire Chief Greg Locher said.

The flight was scheduled to leave for Chicago around 10:00am.  The Port Authority says there were about 30 people on the plane.

Fire departments from Swanton and Toledo are on the scene, as well as Toledo's Hazardous Materials Unit.  Police have reportedly called for a hostage negotiator.  The FBI is also involved.  The Federal Aviation Administration said it was aware of the situation but had no information because the Transportation Security Administration was handling it.

The airplane is parked at the end of a runway.  There are fire trucks nearby, and more fire trucks and ambulances staged on the tarmac.

The flight reportedly has about 30 people on-board.

Other planes have been seen taking off from the airport as the situation develops.

This is a breaking news story, and as soon as more information comes in, we'll post it in this space.

According to the Toledo Express Airport web site, the airport has 30+ flights daily servicing Atlanta, Chicago O'Hare, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit Metro Airport, Orlando, and Tampa Bay.  Allegiant Air, American Eagle, Continental Connection, Delta Connection, and Northwest Airlink all service the airport with daily flights.
