"Starving" Horses Die Following Titus County Seizure

Several starving horses, rescued in Titus county seizure, have died from malnutrition.  Officials made the discovery of five starving horses at a home on county road 1468, just north of Mount Pleasant. The horses were terribly dehydrated and hungry, and one, nicknamed Valor, couldn't muster the strength to stand up.

Safe Haven Equine Rescue gathered the animals, but two have died , including Valor. The owners will be charged with criminal animal cruelty.
