Blood Drive For Longview Shooting Victim

     A Longview hospital is asking for blood donations to help a recent shooting victim. Health authorities say 24 year old Charles Parker of Longview remains in critical condition and is in desperate need of blood.

Good Shepherd medical center says Parker needs O-negative blood. You can donate blood tomorrow in Longview by going to the emergency room entrance at Good Shepherd medical center from 10:00 a-m to 4:00 p-m.   Contact Meredith Burkes for appointment at 903-315-2165.

     Other donation sites,  Angels care home health 177 south Henderson in Kilgore on Friday January 5th from 10am-2pm,  call Cathy Hart to schedule an appointment at 903-983-7935.

     Monday January 8th you can donate at Acadia Pathways in the gym at 22 Bermuda lane from 2 to 6 PM.   For appointment call Karen Day at 903-291-3456, extension 417, or Dianne Martin at  903-452-5600.

     As far as the investigation goes, Longview police say the two assailants involved in the shooting are still on the loose, the third one was fatally shot during the incident.
