Some Longview Restaurants Fail To Make The Grade

       4 Longview restaurants were hit with the most serious violations in the latest round of inspections by the Longview Health Department, including Cheddars at 3074 North Eastman Road. 7 violations were found in a November 20th inspection. Food contact surfaces were unclean. They scored a B.

      6 violations were found in a December 15th inspection of Churches Chicken at 917 East Marshall Avenue. Hot foods were held at unsafe temperatures, live and dead roaches were found in food prep areas, and there was inadequate waste disposal. They scored a B.

    Mrs Vee's Garden Patch at 607 North Access Road had 6 violations in a December 4th inspection. Hot and cold foods were at unsafe temperatures, and stored foods were not properly protected. They scored a B.

     And 6 violations were found in a December 12th inspection of the New Way restaurant at 4306 West Marshall Avenue. There were sanitary violations and food prep areas were un cleaned. They scored B.
