East Texas Teenager In Coma After Officials Say Being Hit By Drunk Driver
A small East Texas community is coming together in prayer for one of their own who was hit by an alleged drunk driver. The teenager is in a coma at a local hospital. The man responsible the Department of Public Safety says is Jeff Scott Thomas, 38 of Tyler. Thomas has been charged with intoxicated assualt DPS says for hitting Kristi Davidson, 17 Tuesday night on a County Road in Chapel Hill. Davidson is a senior at Chapel Hill High School. Friends say she is very active playing volleyball, basketball and volleyball. She is also the president of the fellowship of christian atheletes. Those that know her say Davidson always puts others first.
