East Texans Recalling The Day That Will Live In Infamy

Pearl Harbor survivors in Tyler were at Memorial Park Cemetery remembering National Pearl Harbor Day.

It was emotional as they listened to the reading of President Roosevelt's famous speech on the attack.

"Cold chills on my back. I almost broke out," says 91-year-old Pearl Harbor survivor Jesse L. Holcomb.

"I bought a newspaper and was about to read it but that bomb hit over there and when I looked up I saw the red dots on the airplane. I knew what it was," 85-year-old Pearl Harbor survivor Bud Taylor.

Green Acres Pastor David Dykes was the guest speaker, calling these veterans America's heroes.
