Woman Missing From Assisted Living Facility For Four Days

An East Texas family and police need your help in finding a Tyler woman who went missing from an assisted living facility.   Family members say Brenda Harvey, 44, is schizophrenic and bipolar.

They say Harvey is on seven different medications, which she needs in order to treat her condition.   Officials say Harvey left Red Bird Manor in Tyler Sunday morning.

For the past two days, authorities have searched a four-mile radius on horseback and ATVs. Smith County authorities say they have not found any clues at this time.

Family members say they're worried about her physical and mental well being. "I've never been around her when she didn't take her medication but before when she's ran off she had to be in a state facility till they could get her medicine back under control," said Evelyn Schroeder, Brenda's sister.

Harvey is 5'1" and weighs 100 lbs. She was last seen wearing a blue sweater, blue jeans and tan tennis shoes. If you have any information, contact authorities.
