They're not even teenagers and yet they are traveling around the nation, singing their hearts out to raise awareness. The International Children's Choir is performing Wednesday night at Grace Baptist Church in Kilgore.
The group consists of 15 boys and girls from Uganda, India, the Philippines, and Brazil. The choir sings songs in different languages from their native lands. All of them are orphans or disadvantaged children who hope to raise money and awareness for poor children of third world countries.
Josh Lawhorn, Director of the International Children's Choir, says, "we do this with these children because we believe that God has a bright future for them and wants to use them to make a difference in this world to help make countries a better place and this world a better place."
The Children Of the World concert is Wednesday night at 7pm at the Grace Baptist Church in Kilgore. All are welcome and admission is free.
