We are in the midst of the Christmas season. A time when we acknowledge the importance of giving.
It's in that spirit I have decided that KLTV will adopt a charity leading into the New Year. Our decision on which charity to adopt will be based in part on the stories I hear from you. These stories will, in essence, be an informal customer satisfaction survey of those who got direct benefit from a charity. Here's how it will work. You send me your personal story on how a charity helped you solve a real life problem. We'll compile the responses we get and if they're compelling enough share some of these stories with you. Sometime before Christmas I'll announce our decision. The selected charity will get a monetary contribution along with a plan to help them maximize their exposure in East Texas by using the power of KLTV, with special priority use of the KLTV airwaves throughout 2007...so everyone will know what this important charity is doing for our community. But this won't work without your help so write me at a better east texas@kltv.com with your personal story. And together we can help make this a better east texas.
